Hands on Skills Training was purchased by the Capital Group in April 2007 to compliment their existing Construction, Aviation and Medical Devices recruitment and training divisions.
Building on the Company's strong reputation within the Construction and Utility Industries, HOST has sought to continuously improve both the range and quality of its Training and Assessment offerings to meet the changing needs of its clients.
As a fully accredited City & Guilds and Construction Awards Alliance (CAA) training and assessment centre, HOST meets the highest International quality standards, so that our clients can be confident that they are receiving the most up-to-date, industry-focused skills.
The majority of our courses take place at our training centre in just south of the A13 near Barking, East London, but we can carry our NVQ assessments at our clients' premises Nationwide.
Many of our NVQs can be funded through our direct contract with the Learning & Skills Council, thus reducing the burden on clients' training budgets. And we can also advise Companies on how to claim back funding through the CITB-ConstructionSkills levy.
